【年少】Week 11: Class responsibilities 2 (I can) and Rr

Dear All,
This week, we asked the children which class responsibility they thought they can do very well. Once they made a decision, they put their mark sticker onto the display poster.

After that, we played “I can” musical chairs. The children danced around the chairs in a circle and had to sit down quickly when the music stopped. Those with the same mini cards on their chairs stood up and said “Yes, I can!” to the class responsibilities flash cards. They had a lot of fun!

We ended the lesson with “This little piggy’s book of manners”.

For our literacy lesson this week, here’s our mystery box:

For the dance, we did Five little rockets went out one day.

【年少】カタツムリがやってきました🐌

令和４年6月１７日(金)

お庭遊びで、ダンゴムシやアリ探しを楽しんでいる子どもたち。

先日、お庭でお弁当を食べていると、こぼれたおかずを頑張って運んでいるアリを真剣に見つめていました。

虫に興味を持ち始めているようですね。

そこで、虫かごをお部屋に置いておきました。

子どもたちが朝、お部屋に来ると〜

「なんかいるよ〜！」

虫かごを見てみると、中にいたのは

「カタツムリだ〜❗️❗️」

雨の日に先生のお家の近くで見つけたカタツムリさんを連れて来ました。

友達と一緒に「どこどこ？」と覗き込んでいました。

子ども達にカタツムリってどんな虫なのか聞いてみました。

👧「ぬるぬる」

👦「背中に丸いの乗ってる」「葉っぱの下にいる」

👧「触ったら手を洗う」

👦「目がある」

👦「毒があるかもしれない」

👧「目ってどこ？」と沢山の声が上がりました。

そこで『カタツムリのひみつ』の絵本をみんなで見ました。

この本でカタツムリ🐌は食べた物の色のうんちが出ると知ると興味津々でした。

これからも観察を続けていこうと思います🎵

【年少】Week 10: Class responsibilities and Uu

Dear All,
The children had been learning about routines in English class. This week we looked more in depth in what their responsibilities are during circle time, play time, cleanup time, toilet time and lunch time.

We played role-play videos of good and bad behaviors. The children knew their responsibilities very well and could answer if the video “children” were good or bad.

The song, Yes, I can! helped to reinforce the expression for the day.

2. Foam blocks
3. Fishing game
4. “I can” karuta
5. Match pairs of socks

For our literacy lesson this week, here’s our mystery box:

For the dance, we did Stand up, sit down. The children did a great job following the instructions.

4. Keep the balloon up in the air

【年少】お散歩へ出発‼️

令和４年6月8日(水)

「さっき雨ちょっと降ってたけど、ちょっとだから大丈夫だよね」とお天気が心配されましたが、無事お散歩に行くことができました😊🙏

つくし組のお姉さんお兄さんがお迎えに来てくれました。

無事に行って来られるように、ののさまに「行って参ります」の挨拶をしてから出発です。

花壇に卵の殻があり、子ども達から「どうして殻がこんなところにいっぱいあるんだろ？」と疑問の声が上がりました。

子ども達の予想は「きっと、鳥さんが生まれておいていったんだよ」との事でした🥚

吉田の大イチョウにも寄りました。

この大きな木、何歳なんでしょう？

「１００歳」「１０歳」「４歳」

推定樹齢は９００年だそうです❗️

踏切では、年長さんが「足、落ちないように気をつけてね」と声を掛けてくれていました。

辰巳公園(水鳥公園)に到着です。

 

池の中を覗いてみると、沢山のコイが集まってきました。

「金魚だ‼️」「ちがうよ、魚だよ」「違うよ、大きいから、イルカだよ」と言い合う可愛い声も聞こえてきました。

「なんかいる‼️」

「動いてるから生きてるよ」「すごい‼️‼️‼️」

沢山歩いたのでひと休み😄

「お腹すいてきた」

幼稚園へ帰ろう😄  

「白いお花咲いてる」

うさぎ組での初めてのお散歩でしたが、お兄さんお姉さんに助けてもらいながら、頑張って歩くことができました。

お兄さんお姉さんにお礼を伝えると、「また連れて行ってあげるよ」とステキな声が❤️

子ども達に次に行きたい所を聞いてみると、「遊ぶ所がある公園」「温泉♨️」「動物園」と言っていました。また次回が楽しみです。

【年少】デッキにお絵描きをしよう！

令和4年6月7日(火)

先週、初めての筆と水を使ってお絵描きをしました。

真剣に絵を描く子どもたち。最初は、静かに絵を描いていましたが、だんだん友達と一緒に楽しむ子が多くなり、会話もたくさん聞こえてきました。

上手に丸を描いたり…

「ザーザー雨だよ」

「雨をいっぱいにしよう」

上から水を落として…

「ぽつぽつ雨！」

少しだった雨が大雨に！いろんな場所で雨が降っていました。

先生が、手形をとってあげると…

「先生の手も書いてあげるね」

今度は先生の手形をとってくれたり、

自分で自分の手形をとっていました。

👧「おみずなくなっちゃった」

👦「じゃあ僕が入れてあげるよ」

コップの中のお水がなくなってしまった子にお水を入れてあげる子もいました。caringな姿ですね！

なんと1時間ほど、飽きずにお絵描きをしていました。

最後はデッキがみんなの絵でびっしりになりました。

これからも筆でたくさん絵を描こう！

 

【年少】Week 9: Spring (activities) and Jj

Dear All,
This week we explored what people do in Spring. We watched different videos of Spring activities: kite flying, planting flowers in the garden, strawberry picking and rice planting.

The children also enjoyed the picnic song video very much. Let’s go picnic

3. Flower pot gardening
4. Rice lacing
5. Strawberry stacking

For the dance, we went into the jungle and met different animals.

3. Match chocolate chips on cookies to the numbers in the jars
4. Use jellybeans to make the shapes
5. Jungle animal puzzles
6. Frog jump

We also read the book Who stole the cookies? The children were really excited with the last part of the story where they get to join in the investigation.

【年少】どろんこ遊び

令和４年６月１日(水)

先週、お部屋から年長さんが遊んでいるのをみて、「やりたい‼️」と楽しみにしていたどろんこ遊び。うさぎ組でもリクエストに応えてやってみました。

みんなで着替えてどろんこ遊び

スタート

 

「チクチクする」「なんかあったかい」と初めは、慎重に砂の上を歩いていた子ども達。

「お水が溜まってきた‼️」

お水が沢山溜まってくると遊びもダイナミックになっていきました。

水の冷たさや泥の感触を感じながら、みんなで楽しく遊べました。

【年少】この生き物はなあに？

令和4年5月31日(火)　

子どもたちが観察している生き物がなにかわかりますか？

正解は、『おたまじゃくし』です。

おたまじゃくしに興味津々のこどもたち。

触ってみた感想を聞いてみると

「たのしかった」

「(捕まえられず)逃げちゃった」

「捕まえられなかった」

「べたべたしてた感じ」

また、匂いを嗅いでみた子は

「いいにおい」「あんまりくさかった」

という感想がでてきました。

餌をあげたり、新しい水に変えたり積極的にお世話をしてくれています。

そして今日、そんなおたまじゃくしに変化が現れました。

たくさんの変化に気づいていました。

今後、どんな変化が見られるのか子どもたちと楽しみに観察していきたいと思います。

また、子どもたちとおたまじゃくしに名前をつけました。

大きいおたまじゃくし「○○ちゃん」

小さいおたまじゃくし「○○くん」

子どもたちとそれぞれに名前をつけたので、ぜひお子さんに聞いてみてください！　

【年少】Week 8: Spring Yoga and Ii

Dear All,
This week we explored more about the Spring items we learned last week with Yoga poses!

Before the activity, we watched a video What happens in spring?. After that, we played a game where the children tried to match the picture of a Yoga pose to the Spring item.

Yoga time! We tried doing falling rain, butterfly, bird, frog, tree and flower. The children were good!

We ended the lesson with a book Our Sweet Home to be kind to the living things in our environment.

For our literacy lesson this week, here’s our mystery box:

We watched a yummy video The ice cream song. The children were very excited to see many different types of ice cream.

1. Iguana craft
2. Coloring
3. Catch insects into the number jars
4. Ice cream letters
5. Color ball throwing

We ended the lesson with a storyboard book “Insect Greetings”.
